Tania Olsson is a self taught artist and archaeologist by training.
She has spent five years walking the streets of johannesburg.
Her work is a direct reflection of a very personal relationship with the urban environment and the experience of common culture.
Her style translates strongly from her work as a public and street artist, bringing elements from large pieces into the more traditional formats of painting, illustration and sculpture.
Meaning and purpose is centered around the human plight for freedom from opression, the ownership of society by all people and our very universal need to freely create.
She is currently making art and will be doing so forever.
