From a young age, art has been a passion of mine. Art was one of my subject choices at school, and after matriculating, to apply to study a degree in Fine Arts was an obvious choice, and so I went on to do just that. I soon realized that I was no longer inspired, nor was I finding any enjoyment in what I was doing. I thus decided to change my degree to Psychology and I completed an Honours degree in Psychology whilst working in finance. I later decided to study towards a Diploma in Education, after which I taught at a school for two years, with Art being one of the subjects I taught. This afforded me an opportunity to get back into a creative zone, and I felt inspired to once again start doing my own paintings and drawings. Having gained some life experience, I am now more motivated than ever to pursue a career in Art.
